At CEA Libellule, we place great importance on the privacy of the personal information provided to us. This privacy policy aims to explain in a simple and transparent manner what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Legal Framework
This policy is adopted pursuant to the Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information (Bill 25), assented to on September 22, 2021, amending the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as well as any other applicable privacy law.
Scope of Application
This policy applies only to information collected through the CEA Libellule website. The term “personal information” refers to any information that relates to a natural person and allows them to be identified directly or indirectly.
1. Collection of Personal Information
We limit the collection of personal information to what is necessary and appropriate for the specified purposes. We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that this information is accurate and up to date.
We collect personal information in various ways:
- Via our online forms
- Browsing data
When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the technologies integrated into it. This information may include the IP address, the type of browser or device used, the pages visited, as well as certain data related to your browsing.
If you use our contact or reservation form, we may collect the following information:
- First and last name
- Billing address
- Phone number
- Any information provided in your message
If you use our newsletter subscription form, we may collect the following information:
- First and last name
- Billing address

2. Use of Information
The information provided through the contact form is used solely to:
- answer your questions and requests;
- communicate with you regarding a request;
- register your email address on a mailing list managed by an external provider
We do not use this data for automated marketing or newsletter purposes without your prior consent. We ensure that the collected information is used for the specified purposes and not for other purposes, and that it is not disclosed to a third party without the consent of the individual concerned, unless otherwise provided by law.
3. Sharing of Information
Your personal information remains strictly internal to CEA Libellule and is never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties, except:
- When this disclosure is necessary to provide the requested services
- When this disclosure is required by law or regulation
- When the explicit, free, and informed consent of the individual concerned has been obtained
- In the context of the sale or transfer, in whole or in part, of our operations or another commercial transaction
- With service providers (particularly in cloud hosting or IT services), after obtaining the client’s authorization and while maintaining control over the transferred information
4. Hosting and Retention
Our site is hosted in Canada. Your personal information may therefore be stored on servers located in Canada, in accordance with applicable Canadian laws regarding the protection of personal information.
We retain your information only for the time necessary to process your request or for the minimum period stipulated by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. Personal information that is no longer necessary for the purposes specified at the time of collection is securely destroyed or erased.
5. Your Rights
You may at any time request:
- Access to the information we hold about you
- The correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- The deletion of your information from our systems (right to be forgotten)
- The withdrawal or modification of your consent to the disclosure or use of your personal information, subject to applicable legal and contractual restrictions
To exercise these rights, you may submit a written request to the Personal Information Protection Officer.
6. Information Security
CEA Libellule applies reasonable security measures to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or modification.
These measures are adapted to the nature and sensitivity of the information concerned and include appropriate administrative, technical, and physical measures. Despite the measures in place, no computer system or transmission of information over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Privacy Incidents
CEA Libellule maintains a register of privacy incidents in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and its regulations.
When we have reason to believe that a privacy incident involving personal information has occurred, we take reasonable measures to reduce the risk of harm and prevent similar incidents from occurring. If the incident poses a risk of serious harm, we notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec as well as the individual concerned, in accordance with the law.

Our website may use connection cookies, commonly known as “cookies,” as well as other similar technologies necessary for its operation, security, or to measure its use.
